Membership of our society offers the following privileges;

MEETINGS

In addition to quarterly London meetings (incorporating the AGM in May/June) there are five regional co-ordinators in the Midlands,The North West,Scotland("North of the Border"),The Solent,and The South Coast areas. They arrange several regional meetings per annum where members and guest speakers are given the opportunity to present displays, exchange information and get together on an informal basis.

PUBLICATIONS

Our excellent in-house publication AIR MAIL NEWS (AMN) published quarterly is sent free to members. It is in an A5 format usually containing 80 pages with illustrations covering a wide range of informative articles. A regular and favourite feature is the "Questions and Answers" section that offers members the opportunity to seek help on problem solving. Rarely does a question fail to elicit a helpful and informative response.

LIBRARY

There is an extensive postal library of books and magazines that is added to regularly.The borrowing of books is positively encouraged; there is no charge for members for this service other than postage costs.

AUCTIONS

There are usually 3 auctions held per annum where members can buy or sell aero related covers books and ephemera. These continue to be extremely popular.

COMPETITIONS

There are two trophies competed for annually The Air Mail Trophy and The Wotherspoon Cup. These take place at the AGM and are open to all members.
